Digital
Ecosystems

N-TUTORR is driving the enhancement and future-proofing of digital ecosystems across the technological higher education sector. These digital ecosystems will enable the sector to meet and address regional and national needs for digitisation and to cater for 21st century learning and research, in a sustainable manner.

We’re doing this through N-TUTORR Stream 3: Enabling Digital Ecosystems.

Enabling digital ecosystems across the technological higher education sector to transform learning, teaching and assessment

Sustainable
digital impact

Ensuring a secure, effective and engaging digital infrastructure that delivers a sustainable step change in technological higher education capability.

N-TUTORR Stream 3: Enabling Digital Ecosystems is being rolled out in three separate but aligned work packages:

Work Package 3.1: Sustainable Learning and Pedagogical Environment: Digitally Enabled Assessment Embedding Academic Integrity

This work package provides new learning, teaching and assessment opportunities that are underscored by shared and scaled digital technologies which align to sustainable education development.

Work Package 3.2: Digital Campus

This work package is delivering a transformative change in the way teaching, learning and assessment services and supports are organised and provided to learners in technological higher education. N-TUTORR-funded hybrid learning and media/delivery spaces are broadening access to campus programmes for learners who cannot, for whatever reason, commit to attending campus; while also addressing the needs of a more diverse learner group than ever before. This work package is also driving capacity-building and developing sectoral resilience for future emergencies, which may require the full or partial physical closure of campuses, and providing the sector as a whole with deep preparedness for other kinds of continuity and performance challenges.

Climate Action

The Public Sector Climate Action Mandate 2024 requires public sector organizations to implement annual climate action leadership training for senior management, integrate climate and sustainability training for staff, and hold workshops to reduce carbon footprints. In response, the N-TUTORR project is funding seven partner institutes to develop climate literacy pathways for both staff and students, aligning with these national objectives.
